"Let Them Know" is a song by English singer Mabel. It will be released by Polydor Records on 18 June 2021 as the lead single from her upcoming second studio album.[1][2] The song was written by Mabel, Raye, SG Lewis and MNEK.[3]
Background and release[edit]
Inspired from watching Paris Is Burning, Pose and RuPaul's Drag Race, Mabel wrote "Let Them Know" as a reflection on dance music's generational themes of expression, liberation and inclusion.[3] The track is 2 minutes and 28 seconds long.[4]
On 9 June 2021, Mabel shared a 30-second teaser trailer titled "Allow Me to Reintroduce Myself".[2] The clip shows the singer performing and filming a music video, and ends with a preview of "Let Them Know".[5] On 10 June 2021, she revealed the single's release date and cover art, along with a link to pre-save the song on Spotify and Apple Music.[1][2] The official TikTok audio for "Let Them Know" was released on 12 June 2021.[6]
