Leung Lan-Kwai was a Wing Chun marital artist and a merchant from Foshan of the late Qing dynasty.

He was active between Jiaqing to Xianfeng period, where in 1843, witnessed the establishment of God Worshipping Society by Hong Xiuquan at Huaxian, Guangdong (present day Huadu District, Guangdong), and also the fall of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom in 1864. Due to him been involved in opera singing as his hobby, he was associated with the opera singer Wong Wah-bo and other members of the Red Boat Opera Group, Yik Kam, Hung Gan-biu, Dai Fa-min, and Law Man-kung, and imparted his martial arts skills to them.[3]
