Liam Mulhall
Liam Mulhall (born 25 January 1982) is an American semi professional rugby league coach who is the head coach of the Delaware Black Foxes[1] in the USARL for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. He is a former semi professional rugby league player who has played for clubs such as the Ipswich Jets,[2] Brisbane Norths Devils,[3] Western Reds (WA Reds) [4][5] and Aston Bulls,[3] in the AMNRL.
He is a coach at Wynnum Manly Seagulls in the Brisbane Under 15 Rugby League (BRL) under the Queensland Rugby League (QRL).[6]
Mulhall was unable to coach Delaware for the 2020 season due to a USARL season being abandoned due to health concerns with the COVID-19 virus taking hold in the USA. Mulhall is a confirmed signing as head coach of the Delaware Black Foxes in the USA Rugby League for the 2021 season.[1][7][self-published source?][8]
Personal life[edit]
In 2001 Mulhall trailed for the South Sydney Rabbitohs for their long-awaited return to the NRL in 2002 after being cut from the NRL in 2000. He failed to make the 2002 train on squad so signed with the Ipswich Jets for the 2002 and 2003 seasons.[9] Mulhall enlisted to served in the Royal Australian Air Force, and after discharging from the RAAF, spent time as a firefighter with the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services.[10] He was medically retired due to injuries sustained in the RAAF and QFES.[11]
