Lokesh Sharma (5 August 1954) had been appointed by the Cabinet Committee of Appointment of the Government of India as the Director General[1][2], Delhi Public Library under the Ministry of Culture in the Pay Band of Rs. 37400-67000+GP of Rs. 10,000/- (as per the 6th CPC) with effect from 16.10.2017. He had been delegated various Financial and Administrative powers of the Head of the Department[3][4]. He served the Delhi Public Library as its Director General till 23.08.2019
