Caleb Shepard (born February 24 1996), better known by his stage name Lil Gnar, is an American rapper and songwriter from Oakland, California. He is best known for his singles "Drop Top Benz" featuring fellow rapper Lil Skies and "Death Note" also featuring Skies and Craig Xen. His debut Mixtape "GNAR Lif3" was released September 28 2018[2] which features "Drop Top Benz", "Ice Out" and "Gnarcotic Gang" as singles[3]. Gnar is the owner of a clothing brand called Gnarcotic [4].
Early Life[edit]
Caleb Shepard was born on 24 February 1996 in, Oakland, California. He moved to Atlanta[5] when he was young and took an interest in skating. He started a clothing brand called Gnarcotic in 2013 and the name is derived from the skater term "Gnarly", this is the same for his stage name. He has stated that he wanted to make a skate brand for skaters only and that music wasn't really on his mind.[6]
