Lil Great Wall
Lil Great Wall was born in Nigeria and lived there briefly before relocating to the Middle East while still a child, then to the United Kingdom. Lil Great Wall was inspired by artists such as Chance The Rapper, Kendrick Lamar and Lil Wayne. He developed a very unique style to his music; his covers stand out as they have a childlike artistic style using stick figures.
Lil Great Wall engineers his own sound, which consists of a diverse range of feelings from hard-hitting bars to gentle melodies. The UK-based artist began posting songs initially in 2016, but after a break and a growth in his online presence, he dropped two singles in the fall of 2018 entitled "Lil Bo Peep" and "Blockade".
Style
Lil Great Wall's music is a blend of modern trap music, with themes inspired by the soul and oldies movements of the 1950s and 1960s.
