Lilliane Diomi (born June 1, 2001), known professionally as ppcocaine (formerly trapbunniebubbles) is an American singer and rapper.[1] She rose to prominence in June 2020 with the release of her song "DDLG,"[2] being just one of her many songs eventually going viral through the social media platform TikTok.[3]

Early life[edit]

Diomi was born on June 1, 2001, in Santa Monica, California.[1] She was born to a white mother and an African father.[4] Through a TikTok video posted on August 19, 2020, Diomi revealed that she was raised by her grandma.[5]

Career[edit]

Originally known as trapbunniebubbles, Diomi changed her rap name to reflect a change in her lifestyle, steering away from her past with drug addiction. Her current name stands for "pretty pink cocaine."

On August 19, 2020, Diomi announced that she would be taking a social media break, explaining that "i really might have to take a social media break, my grandma has been really sick recently ... she is my whole world, shes the woman that raised me ... shes my biggest fan and to see her on oxygen tanks is really hard for me ... please keep my family in your hearts and please respect that i need a break." In the caption, Diomi continued to apologize, writing "sorry guys. im not using hashtags because this isnt something im using to promote im really hurting right now, and can really use the support."[5]

Controversies[edit]

Her breakout single "DDLG" sparked controversy as its title is the acronym for Daddy Dom/Little Girl, a form of sexual ageplay categorized under BDSM.

A snippet from an unreleased track titled "For That Cash" was often associated with "#bianthem," which Diomi was quick to correct through multiple TikTok videos over the song, stating "idk who listens to it I just dont like the hashtag" in the comments section of a video requesting "do not label it #bianthem. if ur gonna tag it anything at all #wlwanthem," which stands for "women who love women" in order to prevent wrongful association of the song with bisexuality considering Diomi herself is a lesbian.[6][7]

Artistry[edit]

In her youth, Diomi listened to Nicki Minaj, stating that "I used to love her music when I was, like, younger ... her older music like "Super Bass" and stuff, that used to be, like, my song." Diomi has attributed her musical style to "Rico Nasty, Stunna Girl, Bali Baby, [and] Flo Milli," taking a liking to their shared "roar sound," stating "I like aggressive females ... I like that sound."[8]

Personal life[edit]

Diomi is openly lesbian. Upon opening up to her parents, Diomi states that they "pushed bi$3xuality on me my whole life because they werent accepting of me being l3sbian."[7]
