Lily Baldwin is an American filmmaker, artist, performer and choreographer.[1][2][3]
Life and career
Baldwin graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BDA in Dance from the University of Michigan with a minor in Art History.[4][5] As a dancer, she has toured with David Byrne and Brian Eno on the Everything That Happens Will Happen Today world tour.[6] In 2016, she directed a short film, Swallowed, for the omnibus feature film Collective: Unconscious, which premiered at South by Southwest.[7] In 2017, she co-directed the VR film, Through You along with Saschka Unseld.[8] She was a jury member in the Storyscapes section of the Tribeca Film Festival in 2017.[9] In 2020, she co-created and performed in TERRAIN: An expanded cinema project with Saschka Unseld for the Venice Film Festival.[10]
Baldwin is the creator and host of the podcast Stories of the Stalked, produced by Ventureland for Audible, based on her personal experience of being stalked.[11] She is the founder of Stop Stalking Us, a nonprofit that unites people impacted by stalking.[12]
