Lincoln Townley (born 27 December 1972) is an English contemporary artist in his third year as a BAFTA Los Angeles resident artist[1]. Recently becoming one of the first artists to accept Bitcoin as payment for his art, Michael Caine has dubbed him the "new Andy Warhol".[2][3]
Townley as a self-taught artist has had his work in The Royal Acadamy in 2015 and 2016,[4] The Saatchi Art Gallery in 2016 and due to be at the Venice Biennale in 2019. [5]
