Lind was first introduced in episode 2, Confrontation. Lind was one of the first people to join the organization calling themselves 'L'. When 'L' wanted a member to volunteer to make a public broadcast telling murdera to stop, Lind decided to volunteer. On December 5, 2006, Lind made a practice run to the public broadcast, only broadcasting it to the families of L. However, Lind perished of a stroke that was revealed to have been caused by Light Yagami.
