Lingesh, also known as Lijeesh is an Indian actor and a Television host who works in the Tamil film Industry[1].
Education and Career
Lingesh was born on December 26 in Thiruporur, Tamilnadu. He did his schooling at Thiruporur govt higher secondary school. For his undergraduate education, he joined Loyola college. After completing it, he went on to do his postgraduate course at the MCC. With a strong desire to build a career in the visual medium, he joined as an assistant director to Director Kavitha Barathy. Lingesh worked with him for Salanam[2] - a Tamil soap opera aired in Star Vijay. Lingesh also anchored shows in Sun Network, Zee Tamil, and Vendhar TV. He also worked as an RJ in Suryan FM.
Acting Career
Lingesh debuted as an actor in Pa.Ranjith’s critically acclaimed Madras and also acted in Kabali[3]. He then starred in Nelson Venkatesan’s Oru Naal Koothu. After this, he acted in a significant role in the widely popular iconic movie, Pariyerum Perumal[4]. Following this he acted in Gajinikanth[5], Jada[6], Irandam Ulagaporin Kadaisi Gundu[7], V1[8] and Tanakaaran. He has debuted as the lead artist in the feature film College road[9], directed by Jai Amar Singh[10]. He has also played the lead in the feature film Kayal[11], directed by Dhamayanthi[12].
As Executive Producer
He has worked as executive producer for Neelam productions in Pariyerum Perumal and Irandam Ulagaporin Kadaisi Gundu.
