Linnea Larsdotter Mikkelä started performing at the age of 8 with the folk music trio "Systrarna Mikkelä" together with her two sisters Sara and Julia.[1][not in citation given] [2][not in citation given][3][not in citation given][4][not in citation given] She has received several awards as a folk music performer,[5][not in citation given] one being "Skånska Stjärnskott", that she was awarded when she was 17, and she is sharing the award together with her sisters.[4][not in citation given][6] The sisters have performed over a hundred weddings and funerals.[7][not in citation given] [8][not in citation given]
