Lion Chong (Full name: Chong Bao Quan)(Chinese: 张宝权, born 11 October 2002), is a Malaysian Chinese Actor. Proficient in Chinese language, Cantonese, English language, Malay language.
Career[edit]
Lion Chong started his acting career in year 2007.
In 2013, he acted in comedy film The Journey, he played the role of young version of the main cast named Uncle Chuan. Lion next starred in a television drama series Seven Days, he played the role of Zhang Jun Shun.
In 2014, he starred in Chinese New Year short film Young Hearts . [1][2]Thereafter, he starred in a television drama series Bright Times and played the role of Guo Wei Ren.
In 2016, he played a supporting role as Hero in the film The Kid from the Big Apple. Then he was invited to be a host in a Malay television programme Chiki Boom . In the same year, he starred in Malay telemovie Jalan Belakang Rumah and played the role of Ping, the telemovie has been replay at the television station for more than seven times.[3]
In 2018, he played a special appearance in China online web series Original Sin and he acted as the younger brother of the main cast Wu Wen Xuan.[4] In the same year, he starred in online web series Mata Kerbau and played the role of Benson.[5]
In 2019, he starred in a Chinese New Year short film Buah Tangan , he played the role as Ah Boy, the short film is listed as the most popular Chinese New Year short film in year 2019.[6]
In 2020, he was invited as a special guest in Selamat Malam Malaysia program. He also starred in a drama series Geng Gajet produced by Astro Ceria which is scheduled to be air at the end of year 2020.
