From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

LionCon, a Fan convention for fans of author and Christian apologist CS Lewis, was initiated in 2008 by three large US-based Narnia fan websites: NarniaFans, NarniaWeb and /The Lion's Call. The first convention, held on June 20–22, 2008 at the Biola University campus in La Mirada, California, was timed with the release of The Chronicles of Narnia:Prince Caspian, and featured such Narnia scholars as author Diana Pavlac Glyer, Mythopoeic Society founder Glen Goodnight, and filmmaker M. David Melvin, producer/writer/director of "C.S. Lewis, Dreamer of Narnia."
