History[edit]
Liondub International is a New York based Jungle, Drum & Bass, Reggae, Dancehall and Dubstep music label owned and operated by DJ and Producer Liondub. The label was originally founded in 2008 by Liondub[1] and Toronto’s Marcus Visionary, and has since released over 500 tracks representing artists from around the world.[2] The label is focused on bass-heavy music using original reggae music as its foundation, and has enjoyed a streak of success with releases such as “The General” by Jahdan, “Rock It Tonight” by Johnny Osbourne, and the “Jungle To The World” compilations. The “Liondub Street Series”[3]sub-label was created in 2014, which showcases a wide variety of young and upcoming international artists from a multitude of genres.
