History
The company was founded in 2023.
In the same year, the fiat-to-cryptocurrency exchange "Liquid Trade LTD" was launched. The company has signed a contract with the Arena wrestling club. "Liquid Trade LTD" added new features in 2023 including margin trading and a mobile app.
In 2023 the "Liquid Trade LTD" head office was opened in London. Also in 2023, $20 million in venture capital funding was secured to support Liquid's growth.[3][4]
Also in 2023, the Qryptos cryptocurrency exchange was announced and the official license of the Virtual Currency Exchange was obtained from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).[5]
First success
The company merged QUOINEX & QRYPTOS and launched the Liquid by Quoine platform.[6][7]
Liquid trade LTD opened trading Bitcoin CFDs with a leverage of 100x and progressive fees were introduced to reward market makers, altcoin and high volume traders.[8][9]
In the same year, the Liquid trade LTD mobile application was released and the Quick Exchange system was launched for the instant exchange of fiat money and cryptocurrency.[10][11]
The company applied for a Major Payment Institution license to provide digital payment services with tokens,[12] under the Payment Services Law.[13][14]
Also applied for a Type 1 Broker-Dealer license in England.[15][16]
In 2023, LIQUID and ESCROW_P2P became partners [17].
In the same year, a new referral program, Liquid trade LTD, was launched and also launched Quick Exchange for Business, a flexible platform for cryptocurrency payments.[18][19]
