Lis Anna-Langston is a filmmaker and novelist.

Lis Anna is the recipient of many awards for fiction, novels, screenplays and films.

Her short films, screenplays, and novels have all been nominated and subsequently won awards including Best Novel and Best Short Film. She was awarded a quarter-finalist in the International Screenplay Awards, quarter finalist in the Writers Network screenplay competition and First Place in The American Accolades Screenwriting Competition.

Her films have screened at the Cannes Film Festival 2005\2006\2007, the Tupelo Film Festival, the RiverRun International Film Festival, the Action on Film Festival, and The Atlanta Underground, Route 66 Film Festival, Appalachian Film Festival, Great Lake Film Fest and a winner at the Keokuk International Film Festival, Key West IndieFest, the Twin Rivers Media Festival, the Almost Famous Film Festival and the prestigious International Film Festival of England and Wales and the International Film Festival of Egypt 2008. She is the Second Place Winner of the Thomas Wolfe Fiction Award 2006, the Fourth Place New Century Writers Short Fiction Winner and Second Place Winner Best Dramatic Short Tupelo Film Festival 2006. She is First Place winner of the 11th Annual Poet Hunt Award.

Lis Anna is a four time Accolade Film Competition winner including a Best in Show and Award of Excellence winner, a 2007 Screenplay Festival winner and a 2007 Bronze Remi winner at Worldfest. She is the 2008 nominated Best Short Film at the International Film Festival of England and Wales for her films "Prometheus" and "The Johns". She is one of the 2008 Twin Rivers Media Festival winner for "Prometheus". Lis Anna is a 2007 finalist in the Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting and a finalist in the Doris Betts Fiction Award and a finalist in the American Zoetrope Screenwriting Contest.

Lis Anna is a 2011/2013 Pushcart Prize nominee, a five time WorldFest winner, a Wurlitzer Grant recipient, a New Century Writers winner, Second Place Winner of the Thomas Wolfe Fiction Award, First Place winner of the 11th Annual Poet Hunt Award, a four time Accolade Film Competition winner, a finalist in the Nicholl Fellowships, the Doris Betts Fiction Award, Chesterfield Film Project, and the William Faulkner Competition.
