Lisa McClain (née Iovannisci; 1962 or 1963) is an American politician from the state of Michigan. She is the Republican nominee for Michigan's 10th congressional district in the 2020 elections.

Early life and education[edit]

McClain was born and raised in Stockbridge, Michigan.[2] She graduated from Stockbridge Junior / Senior High School in 1984. She attended Lansing Community College and earned her Bachelor of Arts from Northwood University.[3]

Career[edit]

McClain worked at American Express for 11 years, and then joined the Hantz Group.[3]

After incumbent Congressman Paul Mitchell opted to retire from the United States House of Representatives, McClain announced her candidacy for Michigan's 10th congressional district in the 2020 elections.[4][5][6] She defeated Shane Hernandez in the August 4, 2020 Republican primary.[7]

Personal life[edit]

McClain and her husband, Mike, have three children, and live in Romeo, Michigan.[3]
