List of Big Brother (British series 17) housemates
The following is a list of housemates in the seventeenth series of Big Brother UK.
Alex[edit]
Alex Cannon, aged 27, is a model and personal trainer from Liverpool.[1] Before Big Brother, Alex featured in the MTV series Judge Geordie, alongside Vicky Pattison.[2] He entered the Main House on Day 1,[3] but was targeted by The Others on Day 2 and was nominated for what he believed to be the first eviction. Unbeknownst to him, this eviction was fake and he was chosen by The Others to be evicted on Day 4, but instead lost housemate status and moved to the Other House.[4] On Day 13, he moved back to the Main House after the two Houses merged.[5] Alex was evicted in a twist on Day 48, just two days before the final.

He entered the Other House on Day 1.[7] As a collective, The Others were asked to target three housemates for the first eviction. Unbeknownst to him, this eviction was fake, but he survived anyway. On Day 9, Andy was nominated for the first real eviction this time by his fellow housemates. He survived this eviction on Day 11. On Day 13, he won immunity from the next eviction after the Housemates and the Others went head-to-head. On Day 21, Andy was nominated for a second time.[16] He survived this eviction on Day 25. On Day 27, Andy's boyfriend Ed entered the house as part of a task and proposed, to which Andy accepted.[17] On Day 35, during "Annihilation Week", the housemates were split into two teams and were asked to target somebody for eviction from the opposing team. Andy was chosen, however in a further twist he was actually granted immunity for the rest of the week instead of being evicted.[18] On Day 43, despite not being nominated for eviction in the final week, a twist during a task meant Sam had to save a nominated housemate and replace them with somebody else. He chose to save Jayne and nominate Andy in her place.[19] He survived this eviction on Day 46. Andy eventually left the House on Day 50 having finished in fourth place. Since exiting the house Andy appeared as a panellist on companion show Big Brother's Bit on the Side.

On Day 1 they unknowingly targeted Laura,[8] then on Day 2 they targeted Alex.[9] and then targeted Jackson on Day 3.[10] On Day 13, she moved to the Main House for the first time after the two Houses merged. On Day 21, she received 10 nominations from her fellow housemates, equalling the record of most nominations in a single week held by Big Brother 11's Sunshine, Big Brother 14's Dexter and Celebrity Big Brother 11's Heidi & Spencer. This therefore meant she was nominated for the third eviction.[58] She survived this eviction on Day 25.[38] On Day 42, Jayne was nominated once again by her fellow housemates, however in a twist on Day 43, she was saved from eviction and was replaced with Andy instead.[19] Jayne left the House on Day 50 having finished in sixth place.

On Day 13, she won immunity from the next eviction after the Housemates and the Others went head-to-head. On Day 36, following a twist during "Annihilation Week", Lateysha became the sixth Housemate to be evicted after Jason earned himself £20,000 and the right to evict one of his Housemates.[63] Lateysha briefly returned for a task on Day 47.

On Day 4, when two of The Others began an undercover mission in the Main House, Laura became their first target for that week's eviction and had to ensure that she received the most nominations from her fellow housemates. They failed this mission.[67] On Day 13, she won immunity from the next eviction after the Housemates and the Others went head-to-head.[5] On Day 39, Laura, Ryan and Sam received the fewest votes to save and therefore faced the last twist of "Annihilation Week" where the Housemates had to decide who, out of the three, was evicted. Laura survived this vote after receiving three out of seven votes to evict. On Day 42, she was nominated for eviction during the final week which ultimately lead to becoming the eighth housemate to be evicted on Day 46.

On Day 1 they unknowingly targeted Laura,[8] then on Day 2 they targeted Alex.[9] and then targeted Jackson on Day 3.[10] On Day 4, Ryan was voted by the public to enter the Main House to embark on a secret mission in order to win housemate status.[11] As part of his secret mission, Ryan had to ensure that the Others' target Laura was nominated for the first eviction. On Day 9, Ryan failed this secret mission and therefore returned to the Other House.[67] On Day 13, he moved back to the Main House after the two Houses merged.[5] On Day 39, Laura, Ryan and Sam received the fewest votes to save and therefore faced the last twist of "Annihilation Week" where the Housemates had to decide who, out of the three, was evicted. With four out of seven votes, Ryan ultimately became the seventh housemate to be evicted.

He chose to save Jayne and replace her with Andy.[81] In a twist on Day 48, just two days before the final, Sam was evicted with Alex.
