The ICC World Test Championship is a Test cricket competition in men's cricket. Organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC), the tournament has taken place as a cycle every two years since its inception. It is in line with the ICC's goal of having one pinnacle tournament for each of the three formats of international cricket.[1] The top nine Test-ranked teams have been participating in the championship since inception.[2]
