Joseph & Lindsey is an American adult animated Plotagon-based television series created by Jay Randolf, Ernie Brown and Patrick Smith for YouTube.[1] A total of 958 episodes were aired with 87 seasons, with the episodes mainly being directed and written by Ernie Brown. Being a Plotagon-based web show, Joseph & Lindsey has the most seasons out of other shows also based on Plotagon. The plot of the show follows Joseph and Lindsey, the wealthiest couple from their home town, Plotagon City. In season 87's sixth episode—the longest of the entire run—it is revealed that the two eventually got married. Beryl, on the other hand, disapproves of the couple and strives hard to break Joseph and Lindsey apart.[2] Her attempts to do so have failed terribly. Plenty of the things Beryl has endeavored to do to split Joseph and Lindsey apart have placed her in jail numerous times.
Joseph & Lindsey is the longest-running Plotagon-based sitcom on YouTube, with 87 seasons, i.e., it has the most seasons out of shows based on Plotagon.
Some episodes, such as "Channel 19" and "Missing Money, Part 1," release on YouTube the day after they air due to technical errors. The debut of "Channel 19" was on March 17, 2021, although it aired on March 16, 2021. "Missing Money, Part 1" aired on November 6, 2021, however the episode broadcasted on YouTube on November 7, 2021. Every episode from Season 16 was posted on YouTube the day after it originally broadcasted.
The first season, consisting of 11 episodes, premiered on March 24, 2020, two days after the show's release, with "Long Lost" being the season premiere and "Aliens!" being the season finale.
On September 6, 2021, the show reached its 100th episode.[3] The show's 200th episode aired three months later, on December 16 of the same year. Three months later, on March 26, 2022, the show's 300th episode aired. Another three months later, on July 4, 2022, the show's 400th episode aired. Yet another three months later, on October 12, 2022, the 500th episode aired. The 600th episode was going to air on around January 2023, but it was revealed on November 2022, the show might be set to cancel at the end of season 48.
The show is continuing as of October 2024, with a total of 900+ episodes.
It is revealed that the nineteenth season of the show is the second part to Season 18, making season 19 the first season to be part two to another season.

Joseph & Lindsey Specials (also known as J&L Specials) are specials of the show Joseph & Lindsey, that premiered on March 23, 2021 to commemorate the show's one-year anniversary. The main character of the specials is Joseph. In the specials, Joseph and the other characters keep the audience up to date on various topics. [6]
