The Karabakh Khanate was established in about 1748 in Karabakh and adjacent areas. It was abolished in 1822 by Russian Empire.[1][2]

The last khan of the Karabakh Khanate, functioning as its head from 1806 up to his flight in 1822. His only known issue was Khurshidbanu Natavan - famous Azerbaijani poetess.[8] |
