Locke & Key is an American fantasy horror drama television series[1][2] developed by Carlton Cuse, Meredith Averill, and Aron Eli Coleite, based on the comic-book series of the same name by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodríguez. It premiered on Netflix on February 7, 2020.[3] The series stars Darby Stanchfield, Connor Jessup, Emilia Jones, Jackson Robert Scott, Laysla De Oliveira, Petrice Jones, and Griffin Gluck.

In March 2020, Netflix announced that the series had been renewed for a second season which premiered on October 22, 2021.[4][5] In December 2020, ahead of the second season premiere, the series was renewed for a third season which is set to be released in 2022.[6][7] In April 2022, it was announced that the third season would be its final season, as planned by the creators.[8] The third season is due to premiere on Netflix on August 10, 2022.[9]

  • Kevin Durand as Frederick Gideon (season 2),[11] a captain in the British Army during the American Revolutionary War who was the first person to discover the portal behind the Black Door and become possessed. At the end of the second season, he is summoned to Earth as an echo by Eden.

  • Jason Gosbee as a security agent who tells Sam he has a visitor and is much later murdered by him.
  • Tom Savini as the Locksmith, who lends a decoy key to Bode Locke.
  • Joanne Miller as a Waitress, who expresses alarm at Dodge's ravenous appetite.
  • Kaleb Horn as Gilles, a partygoer who Dodge incapacitated via short-lived strangulation.
  • Jackson Robert Scott as Bode Locke's Glee, an emotion come to life in Bode's head.
  • Alexander Elliot as Ray, a teenager deprived of the Matchstick Key and thrown in front of a train.

  • Chris Farquhar as Gustav, a compassionate magician who performed at McClellan Psychiatric Hospital for the mentally infirm patients there, viewed by Erin Voss, a patron, and Dodge, a visitor.
  • Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez as the Paramedics - Two medical professionals who helped hospitalize Rufus Whedon.

  • Brett Houghton as Karl, a theater attendant murdered by Eden Hawkins' demonic counterpart, to be much later discovered by Kinsey and Scot.
  • Tara Nicodemo as Mrs. Lafferty, Bode and Jamie's schoolteacher.
  • Tanya Clarke as Carole Hawkins, the mother of Eden Hawkins and wife of a cheater whose name is never revealed.
  • Kevin Alves as the demon latched onto Javi, soon to be destroyed by Hawkins, leaving the shadow monster stranded in the desert.
