Lux girls in Pakistan are the Pakistani actresses/models who appeared in Lux commercials and became its brand ambassadors since 1950s.
History of advertisement[edit]
Lux soap was introduced to America in 1925 by the Lever Brothers. Since then, being a Lux girl in a brand advertisement has always had a certain prestige and fame attached to it around the globe, including Pakistan. The first Pakistani Lux girl was Meena Shorey who appeared in a Lux newspaper ad in 1956.[1]
