Nepal Idol is an Nepalese reality television series which first aired from April 2017. The show is part of international franchise Idol, show is created by FremantleMedia, 19 Entertainment and Annapurna Media Network. There have been two seasons of the series. Since the first season of Nepal Idol judge's have been the same, which are Nhyoo Bajracharya, Kali Prasad Baskota, and Indira Joshi.[1] In 2017 Buddha Lama won the title of first ever Nepal Idol winner, also with the title he received Rs 2 Million, KUV 100 and contract of Nepal Idol.[2] Then in 2018 Ravi Oad won the title of second ever Nepal Idol winner, also with the title he received Rs 2.2 million, car. However for Oad winning the Idol became costly after few days of winning the idol his mother passed away.[3]
