List of Nepal Idol Winners

Nepal Idol is a Nepalese reality television series which first aired from April 2017. The show is part of the international franchise Idol, and is created by FremantleMedia, 19 Entertainment and Annapurna Media Network. There have been two seasons of the series. Since the first season of Nepal Idol, the judges have been the same: Nhyoo Bajracharya, Kali Prasad Baskota, and Indira Joshi.[1] In 2017 Buddha Lama won the title of the first ever Nepal Idol winner, and with the title he received Rs 2 Million, a KUV 100, and a contract with Nepal Idol.[2] Then in 2018 Ravi Oad won the title of the second ever Nepal Idol winner, and with the title he received Rs 2.2 million and a car. However, for Oad, winning the Idol became costly after a few days of winning, as his mother passed away.[3]
