She is one of the best selling artists of all time. Her influence on pop music has been huge. The following is a list of prominent personalities who have mentioned Britney spears as their inspiration.

Selena Gomez has mentioned Spears as one of her main inspirations.
Lady Gaga has cited Spears as one of her main sources of inspiration since her early days and said that the music industry would not be the same without Spears while honoring her with the lifetime achievement award at the 2011 VMAS.
Taylor Swift has cited her admiration for Spears and her influence can be noted on Swift's transiti
Madonna has inspired Spears as an artist.
Miley Cyrus has cited Spears as her main inspiration since her debut. Spears’ influence has been noted on Cyrus’ work. They both collaborated later on SMS (Bangerz) which Cyrus called a dream come true.
