List of current NCAA Division II football coaches
The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II includes 168 football teams. Each team has one head coach.[1] Division II is composed of 16 conferences: Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA), Great American Conference (GAC), Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), Great Midwest Athletic Conference (GMAC), Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC), Lone Star Conference (LSC), Mountain East Conference (MEC), Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA), Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10), Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC), Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC), Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC), South Atlantic Conference (SAC), Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC). All schools except for North Greenville and UNC Pembroke are members of one of these conferences; North Greenville and UNC Pembroke compete as Division II Independents.
As of the end of the 2017 season, the longest-tenured coach in Division II is Denny Douds of East Stroudsburg, who has been the head coach since 1974.
