List of professional baseball teams in North America by metropolitan area

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

This is a list of professional baseball teams in the United States and Canada by metropolitan areas. This list is based on Census populations and not TV market size. The table below is up-to-date for the 2019 season, although lineups of Independent leagues sometimes change very close to the start of the season.

All metropolitan areas with at least 350,000 residents are shown in the table below, as well as any area with a professional team. This includes several micropolitan statistical areas and three counties that are too small to even be part of an µSA. Not shown in the lists below are the Arizona League and Gulf Coast League, a lightly-attended Rookie league in Arizona and Florida with varying team lineups from year to year.
