This is a list encompasses the most prominent terrorist incidents against innocent civilian populations within Israel and the Israeli settlements during 2022, including both far-right terrorism, Jewish extremist terrorism and Palestinian political violence. This list does not include attacks against Israeli armed forces.

Template:Origin of attack in Israel March 2–3 - A Palestinian stabbed Israeli civilians in two different locations in Palestinian town of Hizma.[1][2] Template:Origin of attack in Israel March 6 - A Palestinian from East Jerusalem stabbed an Israeli policeman in the Old City of Jerusalem, mildly injuring him. The perpetrator was shot and killed.[3][4][5] Template:Origin of attack in Israel March 19 - A Palestinian from the Abu Tor neighborhood in East Jerusalem stabbed an Israeli civilian whom was jogging in the Jerusalem city center before he was shot in the leg and neutralized.[6][7] Template:Origin of attack in Israel March 22 - Beersheba attack: An Israeli-Bedouin carried out a stabbing attack in several different locations in the Israeli city of Be'er Sheva. Four civilians were killed in the attack and two more were injured. The perpetrator was eventually shot and killed by an armed civilian.[8][9][10][11] Template:Origin of attack in Israel March 27 - Hadera shooting: Two Palestinian militants armed with M16 rifles and pistols carried out a shooting attack in the Israeli city of Hadera. They managed to kill two police officers, and injured five other people. Two of the injured suffered sever injuries. The perpetrators were subsequently shot dead by police officers.[12][13] Template:Origin of attack in Israel March 29 - Bnei Brak shootings: A Palestinian militant from the town of Ya'bad in the West Bank infiltrated into Israel and carried out a shooting attack against pedestrians in the Israeli city of Bnei Brak, killing 5 people and injuring ten. The perpetrator was eventually shot and killed in a gun battle with the police.[14][15] Template:Origin of attack in Israel March 31 - A Palestinian stabbed an Israeli bus passenger with a screwdriver near the Neve Daniel settlement in the West Bank. The victim was severely injured. Another armed bus passenger shot the perpetrator and killed him.[16]

Template:Origin of attack in Israel April 7 - Tel Aviv shooting: A Palestinian militant from Jenin carried out a shooting attack at three locations along Dizengoff Street in central Tel Aviv. Afterwards the perpetrator fled, prompting a large-scale manhunt during which Tel Aviv residents were advised to stay indoors After about nine hours, the gunman was found hiding in a Jaffa mosque and was engaged was killed during a gunfight with Shin Bet forces.[17][18] Template:Origin of attack in Israel April 8–19 - Attacks that were planned by three Palestinian militants from East Jerusalem were thwarted. According to the Shin Bet they planned to kidnap IDF soldiers for a future prisoner swap. They also planned to assassinate the Knesset member Itamar Ben-Gvir, as well as detonate a pipe bomb at the Jerusalem Light Rail, or alternatively, at Jewish homes in the At-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem. The members of the militant squad were apprehended.[19][20][21] Template:Origin of attack in Israel April 11 - A day after Joseph's Tomb was vandalized by Palestinian rioters, two Israeli-Jewish civilians visited the tomb at night without coordinating the visit with the IDF and were shot by Palestinian gunmen.[22][23][24] Template:Origin of attack in Israel April 15 - a 15-year-old Arab-Israeli girl stabbed an Israeli-Jewish civilian in the Hadar neighborhood of Haifa and moderately injured him.[25][26][27][28] Template:Origin of attack in Israel April 29 - Two Palestinian militants carried out a drive-by-shooting with submachine guns at the Israeli settlement of Ariel in which an Israeli security guard was killed. Both al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades (Fatah) and Hamas (al-Qassam Brigades) claimed responsibility for the terror attack.[29][30][31][32]

Template:Origin of attack in Israel May 5 - El'ad stabbing: On Israel's Independence Day two Palestinian militants from Rummanah carried out an axe murder terror attack at a park in the Israeli city of El'ad. Four Israeli civilians were killed in the attack and several others were injured.[33][34] Israeli security forces launched a manhunt to apprehend the suspects, who fled by car.[35] They were captured 3 days later in a wooded area near El'ad.[36] Template:Origin of attack in Israel May 8 - A Palestinian militant attempted to carry out a stabbing attack at the Israeli settlement of Tekoa in the West Bank. The attempt was thwarted and the perpetrator was fatally shot by an armed civilian.[37][38] Template:Origin of attack in Israel May 16 - The Israeli police apprehended a Palestinian from Al-Bireh wielding an axe and carrying a suicide note which confirmed that he was on his way to carry out an attack.[39][40][41]

Template:Origin of attack in Israel June 28 - An attempted stabbing attack at the Old City of Jerusalem was thwarted. The Palestinian assailant fled to the Temple Mount and was later apprehended. There were no casualties in the attack.[42] Template:Origin of attack in Israel June 30 - Palestinian gunmen fired on Jewish worshipers at Joseph's Tomb, sparking a gun battle in which 17 Palestinians, two Israeli civilians and one IDF commander were injured. Palestine Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for the attack.[43][44]

Template:Origin of attack in Israel July 5 - A Palestinian from the West Bank village of Einabus attacked an Israeli civilian with an axe on a pedestrian bridge at the Israeli city of Bnei Brak. The victim was moderately injured. The perpetrator fled the scene and was apprehended the next day.[45][46] Template:Origin of attack in Israel July 15 - During an uncoordinated visit to Joseph's Tomb in the West Bank, Palestinian militants shot at a vehicle with four Israeli-Jewish worshipers. As they attempted to escape their vehicle overturned, forcing them to abandon the car and flee Nablus on foot until they were eventually picked up by IDF soldiers.[47][48] Template:Origin of attack in Israel July 19 - A Palestinian from Ramallah, left a plant nursery near Givat Ze'ev where he worked, bought a long screwdriver at a building materials store and boarded bus no. 137. When the bus arrived the Ramot intersection in Jerusalem he stabbed an Israeli civilian with the screwdriver in his upper body, and injured him moderately. The perpetrator was shot and neutralized by an Israeli journalist passing by.[49][50]

Template:Origin of attack in Israel August 14 - At 1:30AM a Palestinian from East Jerusalem carried out a shooting attack on a bus carrying Jewish worshipers near the Western Wall, wounding 8, including a pregnant woman whose child, emergency delivered, "is in serious but stable condition."[51] The perpetrator turned himself in six hours later.[52][53][54] Template:Origin of attack in Israel August 18 - Palestinian militants carried a shooting attack on a group of Israeli-Jewish worshipers at the Joseph's Tomb in the West Bank. The IDF forces securing the worshipers engaged in gunfire, resulting in the death of one Palestinian shooter. The al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades took responsibility for the attack.[55] Template:Origin of attack in Israel August 20 - Around midnight Palestinian militants carried out a shooting attack on an civilian bus full of passengers while it was traveling on Highway 60 in the West Bank. There were no casualties in the attack.[55] Template:Origin of attack in Israel August 30 - Five Israelis, whom entered Joseph's Tomb in the West Bank, without coordinating the visit with the IDF, were shot at by Palestinian militants and were forced to hide in a nearby street until they were rescued by IDF forces. Two of the worshipers were moderately injured in the attack.[56][57]

Template:Origin of attack in Israel September 8 - The Israeli police Special Patrol Unit apprehended a Palestinian militant at the Jaffa Clock Tower square whom was going to carry out an imminent mass casualty attack. The individual was found to be in possession a submachine gun and two pipe bombs.[58][59] Template:Origin of attack in Israel September 9 - Palestinian militants carried out a drive-by shooting at a Jewish family driving in their car near the Palestinian town of Huwara. The driver was mildly injured by shards of glass.[60][60][61] Template:Origin of attack in Israel September 15 - A Palestinian militant squad carried out a shooting attack at an Israeli vehicle near the Israeli settlement Carmel in the West Bank. One of the militants then approached the fence of the settlement and shot at a Beth midrash located in the settlement. One civilian was moderately injured.[62][63] The perpetrator escaped but was apprehended several days later.[64] Template:Origin of attack in Israel September 20 - A Palestinian worker from the Palestinian city of Qalqilya, with a permit to work in Israel, murdered an 84-year-old Israeli woman with an iron rod near a construction site in the Israeli city of Holon where he worked. The perpetrator fled the scene, and was found hanged at an abandoned building in central Tel Aviv the following day in an apparent suicide.[65][66] Template:Origin of attack in Israel September 22 - Using a stolen vehicle, a Palestinian from Ramallah breached an entrance barrier at Ben Gurion Airport. When a security guard attempted to block the vehicle, the driver tried to run him over, prompting the security guard to shoot at the vehicle and bring it to a stop, after which the perpetrator fled but he was later apprehended.[67] Template:Origin of attack in Israel September 22 - A Palestinian militant from Ramallah carried out a stabbing attack near Israeli agricultural village Shilat in which two Israeli civilians were mildly injured. The militant then stabbed and mildly injured an off-duty police officer, whom in response shot and killed the perpetrator.[68][69][70] Template:Origin of attack in Israel September 23 - Palestinian militants carried out a shooting attack at the West Bank settlement of Har Brakha. There were no casualties in the attack.[71] One of the squad members was shot and killed in an ambush two days later.[72] Template:Origin of attack in Israel September 25 - Palestinian militants placed an explosive device containing 4 kilograms of explosives at a gas station near the West Bank settlement of Kedumim. Locals discovered the explosive device and a bomb disposal unit managed to neutralize it. The perpetrators were apprehended while fleeing.[73][74] Template:Origin of attack in Israel September 28 - Palestinian militants carry out a drive-by shooting at an Israeli vehicle near the West Bank settlement of Negohot. There were no casualties in the attack.[75]

Template:Origin of attack in Israel October 2 - Palestinian militants carried out a shooting attack on vehicles driving on Route 555 near the Israeli settlement of Itamar in the West Bank. A taxi driver was mildly injured by shrapnel.[76] Template:Origin of attack in Israel October 14 - Two Palestinian militants opened fire on a sukkah in the West Bank Israeli settlement of Beit El, mildly injuring an Israeli civilian who was in it. One of the perpetrators was shot and killed by IDF soldiers, [77][78] while the second perpetrator was apprehended later.[79] Template:Origin of attack in Israel October 18 - Palestinian militants shot at the Israeli settlement of Shaked. There were no casualties in the attack.[80] Template:Origin of attack in Israel October 19 - A Palestinian militant carried out a shooting attack at the entrance to the Israeli settlement Ma'ale Adumim. A security person was slightly injured in the attack. The perpetrator, whom also carried out a shooting attack 11 days earlier, was shot and killed by security personnel. A grenade was found on the perpetrator's body.[81][82] Template:Origin of attack in Israel October 22 - A 16-year-old Palestinian from East Jerusalem stabbed an Israeli civilian in Jerusalem, seriously injuring him. The perpetrator was apprehended after a short chase.[83][84][85] Template:Origin of attack in Israel October 25 - A Palestinian militant stabbed an Israeli civilian in the Palestinian village Al-Funduq in the West Bank. The perpetrator was apprehended. The 63-year-old man died of his injuries two weeks later.[86][87] Template:Origin of attack in Israel October 29 - Kiryat Arba attack: A Palestinian militant carried out a shooting attack in the Israeli settlement of Kiryat Arba in the West Bank. One civilian was killed and 4 others were moderately and lightly injured. The perpetrator was shot and killed.[88][89]

Template:Origin of attack in Israel November 3 - A Palestinian stabbed a police officer near the Western Wall in the Old City of Jerusalem. The police officer, whom was lightly injured, shot and killed the perpetrator.[90][91] Template:Origin of attack in Israel November 9 - a 15-year-old Palestinian who planted an explosive device at Joseph's Tomb in Nablus was shot dead.[92][93][94] Template:Origin of attack in Israel November 15 - Ariel attack: Three Israeli civilians were killed and three others were injured in a vehicle-ramming and stabbing attack carried out by a Palestinian militant in the West Bank settlement of Ariel settlement. The perpetrator whom fled the site on Highway 5, was shot and killed while being in pursuit.[95][96][97] Template:Origin of attack in Israel November 23 - Jerusalem bombings: Two explosive devices exploded at different bus stops at the entrance to Jerusalem and the Ramot neighborhood. The explosions killed one boy and another man who died of his injuries three days after the attack. Another 46 people were injured in the explosions, of them two people were severely injured. The bombs were concealed in bags and were packed with shrapnel.[98][99][100] Template:Origin of attack in Israel November 23 - Tiran Fero kidnapping: Palestinian militants from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad organization kidnapped an Israeli-Druze civilian from a hospital in Jenin whom was recently injured in a car accident. According to the father, the kidnappers disconnected him from the ventilator and as a result he died from his injury. His body was returned to his family a day after the kidnapping.[101][102][103] Template:Origin of attack in Israel November 24 - An Israeli-Arab from the Arab Bedouin city of Rahat in southern Israel carried out a vehicle-ramming attack against an 18-year-old guy in the Israeli city of Be'er Sheva whom was injured moderately. The perpetrator was arrested.[104][105]

Template:Origin of attack in Israel December 2 - A Palestinian militant carried out a shooting attack on a civilian bus near the at the Mateh Binyamin Regional Council in the West Bank. There were no casualties in the attack.[106][107] Template:Origin of attack in Israel December 8 - A Palestinian militant carried out a drive-by shooting attack on Abarbanel Street in Tel Aviv causing moderate injuries to a motorcyclist. The perpetrator was apprehended several days later.[108][109] Template:Origin of attack in Israel December 16 - A Palestinian militant conducted a shooting attack on an Israeli vehicle near the West Bank settlement of Yitzhar.[110] Template:Origin of attack in Israel December 18 - A Palestinian militant carried out a shooting attack on an Israeli civilian bus which had many Israeli-Jewish travelers, including the Israeli politician Limor Son Har-Melech. There were no casualties in the attack.[111][112] Template:Origin of attack in Israel December 22 - Palestinian militants and rioters opened fire and were rioting against Israeli-Jewish worshipers visiting Joseph's Tomb in Nablus. The IDF forces securing the worshipers engaged in gunfire, resulting in the death of one Palestinian shooter and injuries to five others.[113][114] Template:Origin of attack in Israel December 23 - An Arab-Israeli from Kafr Qasem was shot and killed after attacking and injuring three police officers in what law enforcement purported to be a premeditated act of terrorism. According to police, the assailant called police to the parking lot of a building, citing a domestic violence incident. Upon the arrival of the police officers, he attempted to open fire with a makeshift submachine gun, which seemingly jammed. The assailant retreated into the building and then hurled Molotov cocktails at a police vehicle before entering his car and ramming it into the officers and another vehicle. Three of them were lightly injured. Police claim a number of Molotov cocktails were found on the roof of the building and that a knife was found in his vehicle. CCTV footage of the incident was released.[115][116][117]
