'Lit Chowk' is India's first ever socio-cultural festival that celebrates art, history, cultures, talent, literature and much more. It is a 3-day event that takes place in India’s cleanest city, Indore. It is also popularly known as ‘Indore ka tyohaar'. Acclaimed and prominent personalities from all around India come together with 'Lit-चौक' to talk about important aspects of society and share their experiences, helping bright young minds to shape their thoughts and learn from what they have to say.
'Lit-चौक' understands and appreciates the value of talent, giving performers a stage, a platform to showcase and promote their talent. With a judgement-free crowd, 'Lit-चौक' becomes a wonderful platform for artists to showcase their talents and experience performing like never before. Indore, the city popular for its cleanliness, is even more popular for its food. And given the love the amazing 'Indoris' have for food, 'Lit-चौक' has its own food corner where everyone who attends this unique festival experiences the versatile and delicious palate of Indore.
History
2021
Season 1 of 'Lit-चौक' took place in the 'Yeshwant Club' of Indore on the 17th, 18th and 19th of December, 2021 and witnessed a footfall of over 25000. The event had 3 stages, 2 of which were discussion platforms. Over 100 esteemed guests came on to these platforms and interacted with the interviewer as well as the audience. The 3rd stage was meant for performances, known as the ‘Performance-चौक’ where artists performed and showcased their talents. Apart from these discussions and performances, there were multiple activities including live painting, live rangoli, food stalls, book stalls, art and craft stalls, informal interactions with our guests and many more.
