The Little Angels School (MVP Colony) (Telugu - ) (LAS), is a senior secondary school located in MVP Colony, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India.[1][2]

Summary[edit]

Little Angels School was founded in 1983 at MVP Colony with 95 students. Today[when?] the school has 3,000 students on its rolls. Following the opening in MVP Colony, a branch began in Ukkunagaram (Visakhapatnam Steel Plant Township) in order to meet the requirement for a standard English medium school in the Steel City township and the nearby areas.

Students have been securing ranks in Maths Olympiad, NTSE, SLSTSE,[clarification needed] and in the annual public examinations. Students have won Pratibha Awards and national merit scholarships. Popular students from this school include Malavika (singer). [3]

Little Angels has classes ranging from LKG to 10th . The school is recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and uses English as its medium of instruction. The school has introduced a Central Board of Secondary Education syllabus from the academic year 2004–05. The school also offers a Central Board of Secondary Education syllabus for classes LKG to 10th in addition to the present state syllabus. [4]
