LiveWatch
LiveWatch Security is a residential security company[1] based in St. Marys, Kansas.[2] It operates as SafeMart[3] and has been listed on the 'Inc. 5000' since 2009.[4] LiveWatch was founded in Evanston, Illinois by Brad Morehead in 2010.[5] It later acquired SafeMart of St. Marys, Kansas.[6] SafeMart was founded in 2002 by Chris Johnson, a former paramedic.[7] Morehead is LiveWatch's chief executive officer.[8]
Multi-family residential units account for two-thirds of LiveWatch's business.[9] The company also released market studies and analyses.[10] The company's studies came under fire in 2013 when it declared Columbus, Georgia was America's most dangerous city.[11]
