Liverpudlian Independence (Scouse Independence) is the political ideal advocated by the people of the Liverpool City Region, this would see Liverpool secede from the United Kingdom to become an independent Sovereign State.[1]

History
Liverpool has developed its own culture, reflecting its Irish[2] and Welsh[3] populace. The election of Margaret Thatcher as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom in 1979 inspired a movement toward independence.[4] A devolution agreement was signed in 2015.
Today
In December 2019, the desire for an independent Liverpool was called on again by 3000 Liverpool residents after the Conservative 2019 election win.[1]
