Life Living Records is an independent Ghanaian record label and collective based in Kumasi, Ashanti Region. It was co-founded by rapper and producer Sean Lifer (Prince Boateng) together with Rabby Jones.[1][2]

History

The label was established around 2019 as part of a broader movement in Kumasi’s music scene centered on the “Asakaa” drill genre.[1][3] Under the Life Living banner, artists such as O’Kenneth, Jay Bahd, Reggie, Kawabanga, Kwaku DMC and City Boy were associated with the label’s roster.[2]

Activities

Life Living Records and its artist collective have released music and promoted the Kumasi drill/Asakaa wave. The label’s artists have featured in Ghanaian media coverage about the rise of the Asakaa genre beyond local borders.[1]
