Lockdown Project or LDP is an English alternative hip hop group, consisting of Ollie Maides (vocals), James Newton (guitar), Lawrence Hudson (bass guitar) and Ben Maides (drums).[1]
Music
Lockdown Project fuse "old school" hip hop with electronica and ambient beats to create a laid-back sound.[citation needed]
They released two albums with Grönland Records, Everybody In The Morning on 1 February 2003 and the eponymous LockDown Project on 5 April 2004;[2] the singles "24/7" and "Down In One" were released on 13 October 2003[3] and 28 June 2004.[4] Performances included the Montreux Jazz Festival in July 2003.[1]
