LogicMonitor, Inc. is an American cloud computing company that provides a SaaS-based monitoring solution for data center and cloud infrastructure. Its headquarters are located in Santa Barbara, California and has locations in Austin, Texas and People's Republic of China.[1][2]

History[edit]

LogicMonitor was founded in 2008 by Steve Francis. Francis was in charge of network and data center operations for University of California system, the National Geographic Society, Fastclick (now part of ValueClick), ExpertCity (now Citrix Online), and also consulted for a variety of organizations. While working in these roles he recognized the need for a centralized, automated solution for IT operations performance & health monitoring to simplify the work of operations experts.

Funding[edit]

As of 2016, LogicMonitor has raised a total of 142 Million dollars of funding. Most recently it raised 130 million dollars from private equity firm Providence Equity Partners.
