Logipix Technical Development Ltd. is a privately held company located in Budapest, Hungary. The main profile of Logipix is developing and manufacturing intelligent video surveillance systems and creating surveillance solutions specially for large-scale projects and wide areas. The company was founded in 1996. The company currently has three shareholders.

History[edit]

Logipix was formerly known as STP Ltd. and mainly developed access control systems. Around 2007, they started developing and manufacturing IP camera systems, with which they made it into the finalists of IFSEC Security Industry Awards 2010. In 2012, the company developed its first complex video surveillance solutions, the Logipix Stadium Video Surveillance Solution, which later on has been deployed in more than 70 stadiums worldwide, including stadiums of the Turkish Football Federation, the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow[1] and the Groupama Arena in Hungary. After their name change in 2014,[2] Logipix developed more complex solutions, such as the Logipix Automatic Traffic Violation Detection Solution in 2017, and the Logipix Airside Augmented Reality Solution in 2019. The main feature of these solutions are considered to be the high resolution IP cameras and the video management system.[3]

Market[edit]

Logipix is a frequent participant in national and international trade shows like World ATM Congress, NAIS, Intertraffic and IFSEC International. Under the restrictions of the Covid19 pandemic, Logipix is also participating in online events, such as Rebuilding Airports and Airport of the Future.

The company founded a subsidiary in India with local staff. Logipix’s main references in the Indian market are the video surveillance system of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, and the traffic video surveillance system in Delhi.[1] Besides the Indian market, Logipix is being represented in the Middle-East, where the company has deployed 1000 high resolution cameras for traffic monitoring in Cairo, Egypt. Logipix recently started undertaking North American projects, for example the video surveillance of the LaGuardia Airport in New York.[4][5]
