From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Lonestar Soccer Club is a youth (U5 through U18) soccer club, based in Austin, Texas, with teams competing in the USSF Development Academy, Elite Clubs National League RIII Premier League, SCL, Division I, Super II, Division II, Division III, and Division IV. Since its founding in 2004, Lonestar SC has acquired more than 61 Western District Championships, 35 state championships, 5 Regional finalists, 3 Regional Championships, 5 national finalists and 2 national championships.

Lonestar SC is one of only about 50 youth soccer clubs in the United States to be selected as a Nike Premier Club. Nike Premier Club status affords the club the ability to be considered for many of Nike’s special programs including the Premier Club Summit, Manchester United Premier Cup and Nike Girl's Friendlies. In addition, Nike Premier Club soccer players have access to special U.S. National Team events and exclusive Nike promotional activities and products. The Nike Premier Clubs have historically represented the top youth soccer clubs, coaches, and players in the country.[1]

Lonestar SC is one of only 64 clubs selected by the USSF to participate in its Development Academy. These clubs are selected by U.S. Soccer National Team staff and coaches based on a number of criteria, including a club’s history of elite youth player development and past success in elite competitions.[2]

National Soccer Ranking.com's club rankings for 2009 list Lonestar SC as the 14th-best boys youth soccer club in the United States, and the only South Texas club to make the list.[3]
