Long Island Rail Road

The Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) is a commuter railway operating in southeastern New York. Their service area spans from Manhattan to Suffolk County on Long Island. The LIRR was established on April 24, 1834, and since 1966, is part of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
