Loretto Heights Park

Loretto Heights Park is an urban park in the neighborhood of Harvey Park South, Denver, Colorado, United States. Amenities of the park include a playground, a pavilion with six picnic tables, parking, and paved walking paths. At one of the highest points in Denver, visitors to the park see panoramic west-facing views of the Rocky Mountains.[1] The park is adjacent to the 72-acre former Colorado Heights University campus, which was closed in 2017.[2]

Elevate Denver Bond funds park renovation

Between 2022 and 2024, the park will undergo renovations to improve the park’s irrigation system and accessibility of its picnic and play areas. The renovation project has a budget of $1,405,000, with the funds coming from the Elevate Denver Bond Program and Denver Parks and Recreation Capital and Legacy Program.[3]
