Lost Between the Roads is a solo post-rock project founded by Italian musician Antonio La Rocca in Barcelona (Spain) in 2025. The music incorporates ambient elements, layered guitars, and dynamic structures typical of the post-rock genre.
History
Antonio La Rocca, originally from Catania, Italy, began composing as a solo artist after participating in several Sicilian underground bands such as Before We Die.[1], Near the Blockhouse[2][3], and Diane and the Shell[4].
In July 2025, he released the debut single "Fading Lights", which explores themes of memory and impermanence through instrumental post-rock composition. The track was covered by independent music webzines and blogs[5][6][7]
Musical style
Lost Between the Roads draws influence from bands like Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, Caspian, This will destroy you and God Is an Astronaut. The project focuses on instrumental arrangements, blending melancholic guitar motifs, ambient textures, and dynamic crescendos.
