The Lottatore Brindisino is a breed of dog used for dog fighting originating in Brindisi, Italy.[1] The dog was created by selective breeding using the Cane Corso, the Rottweiler and pit bull-type dogs.[1]
Description[edit]
The Lottatore Brindisino is a muscular dog with large shoulders and chest, strong and powerful legs and neck and a large head.[1]The nose is normally black, blue or red. The tail and ears are often cropped to prevent injury during a dog fight.[1] The coat can be found in a large range of colours and is short and dense. The average height is around 22 inches, but larger specimens exist.[1]
Ban[edit]
The breed is banned in the Cayman Islands.[2][dubious ] Under the New York City Housing Authority, Lottatore Brindisinos are banned in their homes.[3][4]
