Lou Ogden (born 1955) is an American politician in Washington County, Oregon who is the current mayor of the city of Tualatin, Oregon. Born in Illinois and with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, he has served on the city council since 1993. A Republican but officially nonpartisan as mayor, Ogden has served as mayor since 1995 and ran unopposed in all subsequent elections except 2014, when he defeated retired real estate broker Jan Giunda with 55.5% of the vote.[1][2] Currently in his sixth term, Ogden has been quoted as saying he wants at least four more.[3] Alongside serving as mayor Ogden works as an insurance broker for the Resource Strategies Planning Group.[4] He was elected to his current term on November 5, 2014.
