Lucas Pos (born February 16, 1998) is a Swiss-American professional football player who plays as a Defender for FC Lausanne-Sport in the Swiss Challenge League, the second highest level on the second highest tier of the Swiss football league system.
Youth[edit]
Pos was born in Irvine, California to Swiss parents before later moving to Switzerland and joining FC Lausanne-Sport.
Professional[edit]
Pos currently plays for FC Lausanne-Sport. While Pos did not make his debut until after FC Lausanne-Sport was relegated, he was named to the bench one time for a Swiss Super League against FC Sion.[1] Pos made his debut on November 24, 2018 in a Swiss Challenge League match against FC Winterthur.[2] Pos started the match and scored two goals in route to a 5-1 win for Lausanne.[2]
International[edit]
Pos was called into the United States U-23 camp by head coach Jason Kreis for tune-up matches in Spain in preparation for 2019 CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Championship.[3] Pos made his debut for the United States, coming on in the 67th minute for Julian Araujo against the Netherlands national under-21 football team.[4]
