Lucinda Platt
Lucinda Platt is a British sociologist currently serving as Professor of Social Policy and Sociology at the London School of Economics. She is a Research Fellow at the Institute for Fiscal Studies, and a Visiting Professor at the UCL Institute of Education.
Biography
Platt received her BA in English from King's College, Cambridge, an MSc in Applied Social Studies from the University of Oxford, and a DPhil in Sociology from Oxford. Upon completion of her doctoral studies, Platt joined the University of Essex as a Lecturer, where she worked until 2010.
