Luka Kukhianidze (Georgian: ლუკა კუხიანიძე, translit.: luk'a k'ukhianidze) is a Georgian prose and short story writer, novelist and belletrist. [1]
Early life[edit]
Luka Kukhianidze was born on 3 September 1999 in Tbilisi, Georgia. In 2014, at the age of 14, he published his first book[2], which became a bestseller. [3]
Career[edit]
2016–2019[edit]
In 2016, at age seventeen, Kukhianidze began to actively publish fiction (belles-letters). He has amassed up to a thousand such letters over the years.[4]
2018-present[edit]
His writing technique is remarkable, he creates works while walking. Kukhianidze records his own conversation with a microphone and then turns it into text. At the age of sixteen he wrote the first novel in such a way, which made him especially famous. He is one of the most famous young prose writers in Georgia.[5] Texts written from the age of 9 to 20 are published in a single collection in 2019, in the "Stories and Diaries" collection, which is translated into English, Portuguese, Spanish and Russian.[6]
