Luma Health is a San Francisco-based software company providing Healthcare IT solutions for the health care industry.[2] The company's focus is developing a web-based patient engagement platform which enables a text-messaging communication between health care providers and patients. As of 2018, the company had engaged about 200 clinics and 2.8 million patients in the use of its platform.[1]
Luma Health was founded as a privately held company in 2015 by Aditya Bansod, Tashfeen Ekram, and the current CEO Adnan Iqbal.[3] The communications platform developed and managed by the company was launched in 2016.[1]
