Luqman Hakim bin Shamsudin (born 5 March 2002; in Kota Bharu) is a Malaysian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Malaysia U19.
Early Career[edit]
Born in Kota Bharu, Kelantan on 5 March 2002, Luqman Hakim was first discovered by NFDP before started his career at Mokhtar Dahari Academy.
Club Career[edit]
KV Kortrijk[edit]
On 20 September 2019, it was confirmed that, Luqman had signed a five-year deal with Belgian First Division side K.V. Kortrijk, a Belgian club owned by Malaysian businessman Vincent Tan.[3]The transfer was announced by Malaysian Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman.
The Kelantanese, who helped Malaysia reached the 2019 AFF U-18 Youth Championship final, will ink a five-year deal with his new team when he turns 18 in March 2020.
In the meantime, he will remain in Malaysia before training with English club Cardiff City, another club owned by Tan, for three months in January 2020.[4]
