Lymphatic Phlegm (or L.P) is a goregrind band from Brazil, formed in 1996[1] by the vocalist André Luiz and the guitarrist, drum programmer and bassist Rodrigo Alcantara[2], they're known by the intense use of pathological terms in their songs and even song titles[3], and the uncommon melodic and bass-boosted guitar tone along with constant drum machines and deep guttural vocals

History[edit]

The band started in 1996 by Andre and Rodrigo, they recorded the demo "Malignant Cancerous Tumour in the Epithelial Tissue of the Intestine", which were recorded on Coda Studios within two days[4] and released by Lofty Storm Records[5], limited by 350 copies - the second album was not released by the same label, the reason that, Rodrigo and André was a friend of the owner of the Lofty Storm Records, but the owner said he could not release their first album "Pathogenesis Infest Phlegmsepsia" for future ideas and projects[6], instead, the band released their debut album with Black Hole Productions, that release their songs until nowadays

Also, André Luiz do the vocals for the band "Putrefaction Sets In" and "Offal" and ex-vocalist of the band "Neuro-Visceral Exhumation"
