Rohen Shah (born August 9, 1989), known professionally as MC SKULE, is an American educator known for his viral Facebook parody rap music videos.

Career[edit]

During the 2016 American Presidential Elections he released a song that aimed to explain the U.S. Electoral College.[1] He then collaborated with Grammy winner Chuck Alkazian[2] to release a parody to Jay-Z's 99 Problems, 99 Math Problems, which received 400,000 views in the first week.[3] The video was named an NBC Detroit Channel 4's Top Video in February 2017.[4][5] In August 2017, he collaborated with Bollywood director and Youtuber Rupan Bal (also produced by Alkazian[6]) on a rap song about feminism called The F Word, which received a million views.[7][8]

He has also created parodies of Bruno Mars's That's What I Like with Voyageur Academy[9], and Walk The Moon's Shut Up and Dance with Crissman Elementary School[10]. The National Tutoring Association featured these educational songs on their talent spotlight.[11]

Personal Life[edit]

Prior to making rap songs, he was the CEO of Far From Standard.[12] He is the founder of the Ed Tech DiagKNOWstics, and currently teaches math at the Jalen Rose Leadership Academy in Detroit.[13]
